Decision Criticism

I was proud of Sarah for making the decision that was right for her. I knew that it wouldn't be easy, but I also knew that she would be successful…..

It was a long day at work, and I was exhausted when I finally got home. I just wanted to relax and unwind, but then my phone rang. It was my friend, Sarah, and she sounded upset.

“Can you come over?” she asked. “I need your help.”

I sighed. I really didn’t want to go out, but I knew Sarah needed me. I got in my car and drove over to her house.

When I arrived, Sarah was waiting for me at the door. She was wearing her pajamas and had a look of worry on her face.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“I’ve made a decision,” she said, “and I’m not sure if it’s the right one.”

I sat down on the couch and Sarah told me what had happened. She had been offered a new job, but it would mean moving to a different city. She was excited about the opportunity, but she was also scared to leave her friends and family behind.

I listened to Sarah’s story and then I offered her my advice. I told her that she needed to weigh the pros and cons of the decision and then make the choice that was right for her. I also told her that she didn’t have to make the decision right away. She could take some time to think about it and talk to her loved ones before making a final decision.

Sarah thanked me for my advice and I left her house. As I drove home, I thought about what Sarah had said. I knew that making decisions was never easy, but it was important to make the best decision possible. I also knew that it was okay to ask for help when making a difficult decision.

The next day, I called Sarah to check in on her. She told me that she had talked to her family and friends and she had decided to take the new job. She was still a little bit scared, but she was also excited about the new opportunities that the job would bring.
