Trust Formation Process

If he had not had their support, he might have given up and failed the class…..

The student’s name was Kenji, and he was a hard-working but not particularly bright student. He had always struggled in school, and he was worried about failing his current class. He had been attending the class regularly, and he had been taking notes and participating in class discussions. However, the teacher had a mistaken impression that Kenji had only been to class five times.

One day, the teacher called Kenji aside after class and told him that he would not be able to pass the class unless he started attending more often. Kenji was shocked. He tried to explain that he had been to class regularly, but the teacher wouldn’t listen.

Kenji was devastated. He didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t afford to fail the class, but he didn’t know how to prove to the teacher that he had been attending.

Kenji’s friends were also upset. They had all seen him in class, and they knew that he had been working hard. They didn’t understand why the teacher was being so unfair.

Kenji decided to talk to the school counselor. The counselor listened to Kenji’s story, and she agreed that the teacher was being unfair. She suggested that Kenji keep a record of his attendance, and she offered to help him talk to the teacher again.

Kenji took the counselor’s advice. He started keeping a record of his attendance, and he met with the teacher again. This time, the teacher was more willing to listen. After seeing Kenji’s attendance record, the teacher apologized for his mistake. He agreed to let Kenji continue attending the class, and he said that he would give Kenji a fair chance to pass.

Kenji was relieved. He worked hard for the rest of the semester, and he ended up passing the class with a B. He was grateful to the counselor for her help, and he was glad that he had stood up for himself.
