The man’s name was Kenji, and he was a divorced father of one. He had been married for five years, but his wife had left him after he had been physically abusive. Kenji had been working hard to improve himself since then, and he had recently remarried a woman named Aiko.
Aiko also had a child from a previous marriage, a two-year-old boy named Yuta. Kenji loved Yuta very much, and he was determined to be a good father to him. However, he knew that he had a lot to prove, and he was always worried that he would make the same mistakes he had made with his first wife.
One day, Kenji was working late at the office. He was exhausted, and he just wanted to go home and relax. But before he left, he decided to check his phone. He unlocked it and saw that he had a new message from Aiko.
“I’m going out with my friends tonight,” the message said. “I’ll be home late.”
Kenji sighed. He knew that Aiko was a social person, and he didn’t mind her going out with her friends. But he also didn’t like being alone in the house with Yuta. He was afraid that he would do something wrong and that Yuta would start to hate him.
Kenji decided to stay at the office for a little while longer. He tried to focus on his work, but he couldn’t stop thinking about Yuta. He imagined the little boy being scared and alone in the house.
Finally, Kenji couldn’t take it anymore. He packed up his things and left the office. He drove home as fast as he could.
When Kenji got home, Yuta was already asleep. Kenji went to his room and sat down on the bed. He looked at the sleeping child and smiled. He knew that he would never hurt Yuta, and he vowed to be the best father he could be.
Kenji woke up the next morning to the sound of Yuta crying. He went to Yuta’s room and picked him up. Yuta was scared and confused. He didn’t know why his mother had left him alone with Kenji.
Kenji held Yuta close and told him that everything was going to be okay. He sang to Yuta and rocked him back to sleep.
After Yuta fell asleep, Kenji sat down on the edge of the bed and thought about what had happened. He realized that he had been so worried about making a mistake that he had forgotten to just be there for Yuta. He promised himself that he would never make that mistake again.
Kenji continued to work hard to be a good father to Yuta. He was patient and loving, and he always put Yuta’s needs first. Yuta started to trust Kenji, and they became very close.
One day, Aiko came home from work and found Kenji and Yuta playing together. She was so happy to see them bonding. She knew that Kenji was a good father, and she was grateful to him for loving Yuta so much.
Kenji, Aiko, and Yuta lived happily ever after. They learned that it is impossible to create a perfect copy, but that achieving absolute perfect uniqueness is also unattainable. What is important is to find someone who loves you for who you are, flaws and all.
