He is grateful for the second chance he has been given, and he is determined to make the most of it.….

The man sat at his desk, his phone in the middle of a mess of papers and coffee mugs. He stared at the photo of the toddler on the screen, his expression unreadable.

He had remarried last year, and with his new wife had come a toddler. The child was two years old, and the man knew very little about him. He had heard rumors that the reason for his first divorce was his violence, but he didn’t know for sure.

Whatever the reason, he had been able to remarry quickly, and now he was looking for a third wife. He knew that his past would likely come back to haunt him, but he didn’t care. He was determined to find a woman who would love him and his child, no matter what.

He picked up his phone and dialed his ex-wife’s number. He hadn’t spoken to her in years, but he knew she would be able to give him some information about the child.

The phone rang a few times before she picked up. “Hello?” she said, her voice cold.

“It’s me,” he said. “I need to talk to you about something.”

There was a pause. “What is it?” she asked.

“I need to know about the child,” he said. “I want to know why we divorced.”

She sighed. “I’m not going to talk about this with you,” she said. “It’s over.”

“Please,” he said. “I just need to know.”

She hesitated for a moment. “It was because of your violence,” she said finally. “You hit me, and I couldn’t take it anymore.”

He hung up the phone, his face pale. He had known that this was the reason for the divorce, but it still hurt to hear it from her.

He sat back in his chair and stared at the photo of the toddler again. He knew that he had a lot to work on if he wanted to be a good father to this child. He had to learn to control his temper, and he had to be more patient.

He was determined to do whatever it took to be a good father. He knew that he had made mistakes in the past, but he was a different person now. He was ready to start over.

He picked up his phone and dialed the number of a therapist. He knew that he needed help, and he was finally ready to get it.

The therapist helped him to understand his anger and how to manage it. He also helped him to develop better communication skills.

With the therapist’s help, the man was able to change his life. He became a better husband and father, and he was finally able to put his past behind him.
