If the word power harassment becomes popular, almost all actions become power harassment. This is a strange phenomenon.
Sad tears have turned into happy tears1
The movement to shut down Hong Kong International Airport continues.2
Hong Kong’s 1 country 2 system will tear3
This is a story I heard before. When my acquaintance was a junior high school student, the brass band club to which he belonged performed well. The club seems to have won some competition. How did you practice? I asked. He replied that the members went to school during the summer vacation and practiced on the roof of the school building. It was hot and the members practiced with tears. They were teens! If the same practice is done now, it will be a human rights issue. But until a long time ago, that was a necessary evil.
I think that tears are necessary if you want to achieve a certain result, not just a brass band. I had a similar experience. I continued to do some work and did not produce results, and I felt sad and shed tears. But I couldn’t interrupt it. I had to keep doing it.
And as I continued, my tears changed. Sad tears have turned into happy tears. It may be because my psychological state was strange. Or maybe I got high. Or it may be because of personality reasons.
Hey, let’s stop fucking analysis. Even if I didn’t get the results I wanted, I realized that I found my own mission and the tears that flowed were no longer sad.

China Says No ‘Mercy’ for Hong Kong Demonstrators, Promises to Quash Protests ↩︎There was a point I was worried about during this Hong Kong protest. That is the fact that the Hong Kong police announced the number of “tear gas bullets” that were fired. Authorities say they shot more than 1,800 in two months. Originally, firing a gun is a shame for the lawful state, but the data was proudly released.
The basic usage of tear gas is to stimulate the human eye and limit the field of view by flowing tears, thereby regulating the behavior of the crowd. However, in reality, it seems that there are not a few injured people due to the collision of tear gas bullets. That’s right, as long as it is fired by a gun, tear gas is in a hard container.
By the way, there is ominous information: many military vehicles are gathering in Shenzhen, China. There is no assurance that they will move to Hong Kong, but there is no doubt that they are a threat to airport shutdown. In the worst case, the PLA (Chinese People’s Liberation Army) will enter the airport. If that happens, China and Hong Kong cannot turn back. Tools beyond tear gas will be used.
In that case, tear gas bombs will no longer be fired at the faces of our friends, but Hong Kong’s 1 country 2 system will tear.
