Even banned wearing, will not banned from distrust

The town I live in is a little old town, and it has flourished as an intermediate town between cities for hundreds of years. You can still find old buildings, including the old “sluice”.

在香港,制定了一項規則,禁止在公眾場合聚集的人戴口罩

It seems that a sluice was built because the center of the town could be flooded when the water flowing from the mountains increased1

In Hong Kong, a rule was enacted to ban people gathering in the public from wearing masks2

Needless to say, even if Hong Kong citizens are banned from wearing masks, Hong Kong residents will not be banned from distrust of the administration3

  1. Originally a low elevation area, a large river flows nearby. Therefore, it seems that a sluice was built because the center of the town could be flooded when the water flowing from the mountains increased.
I called it a sluice gate, but there are only 2 meter high stone gates on both sides of the road. Strangely enough, as far as I know, only one sluice was built nearby. Was it possible to ban flooding with just one sluice? That ’s a big question.
Moreover, the sluice is installed on the main road of our town. So it may have been planned to ban flooding and to control the movement of people in an emergency. When the sluice was built, the purpose of the requested budget was to prevent flooding, but the completed sluice might not have been used only to ban flooding.

  2. Persons wearing masks under certain conditions are at worst detained for one year.
In addition, after the 70th anniversary of the founding of China, PLA finally started full-scale activities in Hong Kong. Anti-masks and PLA dispatch are not a combination by chance.

  3. However, Carrie Lam( 林鄭月娥 ), 4th Chief Executive of Hong Kong, exercised power and banned masks.
After all, the chief executive just wanted to make a reason. The masks are not the only ones that make the reason. The Chief Executive welcomes whatever it is to drive the PLA.
And of course, Hong Kong will develop into a colony occupied by China. The Chief Executive may have planned to retain the opportunity to deal with Beijing by prolonging protests, but Beijing knows that.
And Hong Kong society will feel such bargaining. What will happen to Hong Kong in the future? That is exactly Hong Kong’s self-responsibility.
The Hong Kong government tried to ban face masks. Protesters are already defying it.
