Can SNS become a public infrastructure?
When using a messaging app, I wonder if this really helps.
App providers are asking users to just enjoy using the app.
Social apps that share such text messages and photos have several roles.
First, it is an advertising medium. You can see a lot of banner ads.
The second role is to collect digital data.
User posts are textual entries of the wishes and dissatisfactions of the general public, so collecting them for free is worth it.
However, what the collected data will be used for will be an issue for the future.
Third role. It’s about discovering content.
There are many interesting contents such as texts and photos that many people have expressed their feelings.
When you have time to spare, you search the net for a variety of data, because the shared data contains entertainment elements.
This third role is a bit scary as it may lead to the disappearance of the traditional entertainment industry.
Already, the terms major and independent are becoming dead languages.
The word net swallows both.
‘El Trackpad’ is a new app that turns your iPhone or iPad into a real Mac trackpad with gestures - 9to5Mac… I’ve tried many similar apps before, but none of them worked as well as El Trackpad. …
That’s all for today’s post. Thank you
