Leaders in some countries don’t wear masks. I think that makes sense. If people see the leader wearing a mask, everyone is worried.
The reason I wear masks in public is that when I see someone without a mask, I feel a little angry. That’s why I try to wear a mask with my own care.
We recognize that widespread cooperation is essential to prevent the spread of viral infections, but I don’t think it should spread to mutual surveillance or mutual distrust.
But I also personally monitor others and feel distrust. I’m scared.
It was theoretically known that anxiety causes distrust and it is dangerous to conduct surveillance activities, but I also fell into that.
The good side of widespread cooperation and the bad side of mutual monitoring coexist in efforts to prevent virus infection. Therefore, the society of the future may be constantly required to have our own ethical checks on what we do.
An urgent matter in my new daily life is how to dry the washed clothes. As it continues to rain, the space for hanging clothes becomes tight.
As a recent housing situation, complaints have been made about how to dry the washed clothes as well as noise and garbage problems. That is, it is prohibited to dry clothes outdoors from the viewpoint of maintaining dignity.
Isn’t this a phenomenon that mutual monitoring produced?
We know it’s logical that a fall in dignity makes a negative impression on the community, but if we had to wear damp clothing for that dignity, it’s obviously a bad side of our ethical efforts. Isn’t it?
However, there is an atmosphere where individuals cannot inadvertently argue because it is a local case.

That’s all for today’s post. Thank you
