It’s clearly a humiliating sight. I extended my hands into the air, tilted my head almost horizontally and opened my mouth as wide as possible.
How should an oversized hamburger be eaten?
Everyone who receives the oversized burger offered by this store for the first time will laugh. It’s nice to have a lot of minced meat and tomatoes inside, but the clerk doesn’t know the limits of things.
The customers are amazed at the top of the hamburger towering above the tray approaching their faces, but they are worried as follows. How should I eat this?
I was able to grab an oversized burger with a few sheets of paper, but my fingertips were covered in sauce. If you tilt your hand, the contents of the hamburger will pop out.
There is only one thing left to do. Tilt your face as much as possible and eat!
And what I was afraid of happened
A lump of minced meat fell. The minced meat bounced off the table and disappeared at my feet.
Looking at the hamburger with only tomatoes and lettuce sandwiched between them, I began to think about the following. How many witnesses to this disaster?
If there are no witnesses to the minced fall, I will reach out to my feet as calmly as possible and pick up the minced meat. And and?
of course? No, it’s impossible, but it’s possible, isn’t it?
But there was a strong feeling that regulated my behavior. So, in other words, isn’t it embarrassing?
Why are we driven by competition?
The immediate goal of our day-to-day activities is to reach average levels.
I do not deny the value of outstanding performance or winning or fame, but in reality we are afraid to be the loser of the competition.
Because it has been believed that losers lose many rights.
It’s not clear if that is the case, but it is shared as an absolute principle anyway.
So what should we do when such principles are applied to us?
In short, what do you do when you lose the competition?
Well, I’ve never imagined that
and I don’t want to.
But let me point out one of the sure things in that situation. It’s a feeling of embarrassment.
I think the first feelings of those who lose the competition and give up some rights are the awareness of shame.
So, driven by such fear, we compete with each other.
The reason is despite the uncertain information that the loser will be deprived of his rights.
It’s quite common for minced meat to fall in this store.
No one paid particular attention to my staring at the minced meat on the floor.
I cleaned up a small defeat born of my carelessness. I wrapped the minced meat in paper and put it in the trash can.
My post-processing was fast. It was faster than picking it up from the floor and putting it in my mouth.
