I had something to do, so I went out on a motorcycle. I thought that if I ran in the wind, I might be able to get rid of the heat a little.
The outdoors were in the midst
of being bombed by light. Ultraviolet rays are diffusely reflected to make all things glow white.
When I put on my sunglasses, the glare was reduced and I could see the surroundings clearly, so I was able to drive safely for the time being.
However, I fell into a mysterious state. The road was congested even though it was lunch time on weekdays. My motorcycle stopped more often and the wind didn’t hit me and it felt terribly hot.
The townsfolk may not have the courage to rush into the heat of the crossfire and may have opted for a cooler car. I would like to admit that their choice was wise.
I remember that few people walked the road.
I felt my arms started to get feverish, so I decided to rehydrate. I bought a soft drink with ice at a nearby store.
Rather than drinking, the soft drink disappeared as if it had soaked into the body.
I was not thirsty, but strongly dominated by the desire to cool my body.
What is impulsive behavior?
Desire or sensation is far from rational judgment.
When we are dominated by the senses, rational judgments or ethical explanations disappear.
The sensation is accompanied by action. The sensations will command your body without your permission.
Your body is moved based on your senses, and you cannot explain the act.
This is a little scary. You are no longer you. Because you have no control over your actions.
What is instinct for humans?
Who are you who act dominated by the senses?
I think it’s an instinct.
We explain who we are by reason, intellect, and rational thinking, but it is only a decoration built on the foundation of instinct.
If the sensation removes such decorations without a trace, only the instinct remains and begins to move.
At that time, the image of you that you believed in will be lost, and only the instinct with no name, status, or charm will be free to act.
Now, tired of the traffic jams, I continued to drown in the strong light and hydrated four times in quick succession. I found that a small amount of drink couldn’t eliminate the physical crisis.
It was a sensory urge driven by a survival instinct.
Depending on the conditions, my instinct might have poured even more soft drinks into my body. My urge was almost unlimited.
