Recognizing Trends from Signs

Sometimes, the smallest things can lead to the biggest changes…..

The man’s phone was always left in the middle of his desk, covered in mugs, donut halves, tissue paper, and permanent marker pens. The wallpaper on his phone was a photo of a smiling toddler.

The man had remarried last year and suddenly had a toddler. His current wife had also been divorced once before. They had met through a dating app for people who had been through divorce.

The man’s first wife had divorced him because of his violence. He had been physically and emotionally abusive to her. However, he was able to remarry soon after the divorce, to another woman with a child.

The man was now looking for a third wife. He was attracted to women who had been through divorce, because he felt that they would be more understanding of his past.

One day, the man’s coworker, a woman named Sarah, was working late. She saw the man’s phone on his desk and noticed the photo of the toddler.

“Who’s that?” Sarah asked.

“That’s my son,” the man said. “I just got custody of him a few months ago.”

“That’s great,” Sarah said. “He’s adorable.”

“Thanks,” the man said. “I’m really lucky to have him.”

Sarah and the man started talking more about their children. Sarah had a daughter of her own, who was the same age as the man’s son. They found that they had a lot in common, and they started spending more time together.

One night, the man and Sarah went out on a date. They had a great time, and they started dating regularly.

A few months later, the man proposed to Sarah, and she said yes. They were married a few months later, and they had a beautiful wedding.

The man and Sarah were very happy together. They had a loving relationship, and they were both great parents to their children.

The man had finally found the happiness that he had been searching for. He had a loving wife, two beautiful children, and a successful career. He was finally content.
