He was thinking about something else in his head

I think motivation is based on the balance between emotions and ideals.....

It always seemed busy.

It was clear that no matter what he was doing, he was thinking about something else in his head. Of course, he was the one who never forgets to be attentive to the surroundings.

However, it seemed to be busy. Because he attended a medical school. There was always a thick textbook in his bag.

He was aiming to be a nurse.

I think the job of nursing is a tough job. Nursing staff have night shifts, who work closely with a large number of patients to accurately check their symptoms and take appropriate measures.

Still, I think the reason he aimed to become a nurse was because he had some idea. Perhaps it was because nursing was a job that was directly related to human beings. Maybe it was something someone had to do.

And his motivation base may have been an angry feeling of injury or illness. Maybe it was because he was indignant at the disease that limits the activity of living things.

Therefore, the study of nursing that he was doing may have been his own battle. Hatred and anger at illness and the ideal of nursing may have shaped his motivation.

But they are all before the spread of the coronavirus infection.

Now he would be wearing a large mask, a shield covering his face, a protective suit that reaches from the top of his head to his toes, constantly disinfecting his hands, refraining from talking, and even limiting his personal life.

Isn’t that motivation lost? Does that diligent and ideal man work as a nurse without hesitation and trouble?

I think motivation is based on the balance between emotions and ideals. If the ideal is high, the stress is also great, but if the ideal is slightly greater than the stress, the motivation will not be broken.
