I think people who want to meet someone after 11pm are pretty weird people.
Or maybe they’re too busy with work to do what they want after 11 p.m.
Anyway, I was shopping for groceries and carrying a heavy bag. So, it goes without saying that I didn’t want anyone to call me.
But, perhaps predictably, I was walking down a dark street when my phone vibrated.
I didn’t have anything particularly important to do, but I decided to meet with him.
The meeting place was about 10 minutes away on foot.
No one was in front of the designated store. After a while, someone’s footsteps approached.
