A delivery man was delivering a heavy parcel of unknown contents to a woman in a house. The woman had previously requested the vendor to place the parcel inside the gate. The delivery man left the parcel inside the gate and then rang the doorbell twice.

The door opened and a woman appeared. she cried. “Don’t ring the bell!”

The delivery man was surprised. “Why?” he asked. “I’m just ringing the doorbell to deliver the parcel.”

A woman has a grumpy look on her face. “I hate doorbells. They’re loud and annoying.”

The delivery man was perplexed. “But I can’t let you know your package has arrived unless you ring the doorbell.”

The woman shrugged her shoulders. “I don’t care. As long as someone puts the package there, that’s fine.”

The delivery man sighed. “Okay, but that’s not the delivery rule.”

The woman didn’t seem to mind. “Rules are rules, but I don’t have to follow them.”

The delivery man sighed again. “Okay, but next time you don’t get your parcel, don’t complain.”

The woman laughed. “Okay. I don’t care if the parcel doesn’t arrive.”

The delivery man shook his head and walked away. He knew women didn’t understand. She just doesn’t like doorbells.

The delivery man was on his way to his next destination and he was thinking of the woman. she was a strange woman. She hates doorbells, so why did she let the delivery man deliver the package? Does she have no problem breaking the rules?

The delivery man didn’t know the answer. But he didn’t mind. he’s just doing his job.
