Domination Strategies: Suppress or Pacify?

He took a deep breath and smiled. He was ready to face the world…..

The young man stared at the wall of the building, his face expressionless. He had been standing there for hours, ever since he had been told to leave. He didn’t know why he was being targeted, but he knew that he couldn’t stay here.

He turned and walked away, his shoulders slumped. He didn’t know where he was going, but he knew that he couldn’t stay here. He had to find a new place to belong.

He walked for hours, until he came to a park. He sat down on a bench and looked around. The park was full of people, all of them laughing and talking. He felt a pang of envy. He wished he could be like them, but he knew that he couldn’t. He was different.

He stood up and started to walk again. He didn’t know where he was going, but he knew that he couldn’t stay here. He had to find a new place to belong.

He walked for days, until he came to a small town. He was tired and hungry, but he knew that he couldn’t stop. He had to find a new place to belong.

He walked into the town and looked around. It was a small town, but it was homey. He saw people sitting on their porches, talking to their neighbors. He saw children playing in the street. He felt a sense of peace that he had never felt before.

He walked up to a house and knocked on the door. A woman answered the door. She was old, but she had a kind face.

“Can I help you?” she asked.

“I’m looking for a place to stay,” he said.

The woman smiled. “You’re in luck,” she said. “My son just moved out, and his room is empty. You can stay there if you’d like.”

The young man smiled back. “Thank you,” he said. “I’d really appreciate it.”

The woman showed him to the room, and he unpacked his things. He was so tired that he fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

The next morning, he woke up to the smell of bacon cooking. He got out of bed and went downstairs. The woman was in the kitchen, cooking breakfast.

“Good morning,” she said. “I hope you slept well.”

“I did,” he said. “Thank you.”

The woman set a plate of bacon and eggs in front of him. “Eat up,” she said. “You must be hungry.”

The young man ate quickly. He was so hungry that he could have eaten a horse.

When he was finished, he stood up and started to clear the table.

“Don’t worry about that,” the woman said. “I’ll take care of it.”

The young man sat back down. “Thank you,” he said. “You don’t have to do that.”

“It’s no trouble,” the woman said. “I’m glad to have you here.”

The young man smiled. He felt like he belonged for the first time in his life.

He stayed with the woman for a few months, and during that time, he learned a lot about himself. He learned that he was capable of more than he thought. He learned that he was worthy of love and belonging.

When it was time for him to leave, he was sad to go. But he knew that he would never forget the woman who had given him a home.

He walked out of the house and into the sunlight. He took a deep breath and smiled. He was ready to face the world.
