The time to lay eggs is near

I know nothing about the ecology of migratory birds.

However, birds that mainly live on the water’s edge are probably always on the move.

Their activity seems to be active in the cold season.

At dawn and dim hours at dusk, they fly in the sky and go back and forth somewhere.

And there are times when they float on the surface of the river as a group and fight.

If anything, they seem to be upset and competing for territory.

The time to lay eggs is near.

When the cold season is over and the temperature gets warmer, you can hear high-pitched calls near the river that you couldn’t hear before.

When the weather is nice, we often see many small birds playing in the water in the river that reflects the sunlight.

About 10 meters downstream, about five parent birds float and watch over their children.

On days when we don’t see the little birds, the parent birds plunge their heads into the water looking for food.

By summer, the little birds have to finish their flying training.

At first, you can only imitate flapping, but you cannot fly. You can’t fly just by imitating the movement. Read the wind.

Eventually, a few small birds head from the surface of the water into the air, dripping water droplets.

The fate of a bird is to keep flying.
