We decided to have a barbecue party together, so we decided to buy meat, prepare equipment and fixtures, and carry them to the riverbank.
Isn’t it nice to have a barbecue on the riverbank? A group of about seven people planned such a thing, but it started to rain on the day. We didn’t have the passion to barbecue in the rain, so we decided to do it in a room that was always a hangout.
It’s raining outside. We bake beef, pork, chicken in one room of the building, potatoes, carrots, peppers. I ate it with sauce.
It was delicious.
Of course, we also drank beer and had a good time, but one person didn’t eat pork. It was Malaysian.
Pork is delicious, eat it
Even if everyone recommends it, it just shakes its head quietly. We felt something like his extraordinary belief in not proclaiming “I don’t eat pork!”
It’s understandable that he grew up in Malaysia and has a habit of not eating pork. But things will have two sides.
Perhaps Malaysians eat pork when they are alone. As long as there are people around, it’s a public place, so it may have been a stance of keeping the commandments there.
I heard later that as a Malaysian, he has regular fasting periods during which he eats nothing.
I’m worried that if people don’t eat anything, they’ll hurt their health, but that worry is also a cultural prejudice, and in fact, even if you don’t eat it, your health is maintained. Isn’t it?
The idea of eating to maintain good health is a plus. On the contrary, there is also a negative idea. That is to maintain good health by not eating.
Of course, if you continue to be hungry, your body will be damaged. But eating too much can also hurt your body.
In other words, a positive or negative experience that does not take damage. I think these are also the wisdom of one culture.
By the way, you shouldn’t barbecue inside the building. The smell of meat filled the entire building, and people in other rooms complained.
The ‘XCOM 2’ saga is now available on your iPhone or iPad… Just be sure you have a reasonably modern device, as the requirements aren’t modest. …
That’s all for today’s post. Thank you
