What is the aim of technological progress?

I wonder what would happen to the workshop if only one drone crashed.....

“It’s very cool. I think it’s a new attempt. The times are changing!”

force
building
destroyed
less than
safety

My buddy said with excitement

His eyes seem to be wandering in the air, staring at an invisible drone.
This is a drone training venue. Under the blue sky, equipment is lined up waiting for participants.
The most prominent here is the number of safety helmets. The fact that more than 10 helmets are lined up suggests that everyone must wear it.
Next, there are a lot of batteries. I’m a little worried if they’re all charged.
And don’t forget the protagonist of today. A large drone with about 6 propellers is placed on the table.
However, only one drone can be found. Did the other drones fly somewhere? No, it doesn’t seem to be the case. There is only one drone.

Is there a plan for technological progress?

Technological progress aims at human expansion. For example, we aim for a place that is out of our reach or a small invisible space.
Take, for example, a building. Our ancestors have been competing to build taller structures.
The earthquake resistance of a building is proved by being destroyed by an earthquake, a typhoon, or a collision of something. By clarifying how much force the building will collapse, it can be presumed that the building is okay if it is less than that force.
In reality, high-rise buildings that are several decades old after completion are assumed to have proven normal strength. And the construction of a taller building begins.
It can be seen as an endless repetition. It’s a never-ending competition, but it’s called technological progress.
Ironically, there is no long-term planning for such activities. New construction is prioritized over repairs, competition is higher, bigger and more continuous. At least as long as safety isn’t questionable.

“But it was dark, isn’t it because there aren’t many people?”
The impression of my partner sounds loud to me. Certainly, the drone training venue was strangely dark. I don’t know the reason.
However, being able to steer a drone remains a useful skill. Of course, just one day’s training won’t give you a veteran drone operator.
The instructor invited to the workshop looks like an auto mechanic technician. He wears work clothes and adjusts the machinery.
I wonder what would happen to the workshop if only one drone crashed.

This great Black Friday laptop deal gets you 35% off an RTX 3070 machine | GamesRadar+… So yes - putting aside that more than a third reduction in price is a great thing in any situation, …

That’s all for today’s post. Thank you
