For a variety of reasons I worked with them

There is only one obvious thing. The person who wrote the script for the play did not appear until the end.....

I was involved in a small theater company for about three months.

I didn’t belong to the troupe, but for a variety of reasons I worked with them.

I have no knowledge of the field, but the average age of the members of the troupe was low.

The troupe regularly performed plays at the open-air concert hall, and the plays performed were all esoteric.

The practice place was a riverbed located a little away from the theater company office, which is the residence of the theater company leader. The “actors” who belong to the troupe had different jobs during the day, so the time when they gathered and practiced was at night.

There was a crude oil refinery on the other side of the river, which was lit all day, so they could check the script and somehow see the facial expressions of the actors.

By the way, a certain amount of money is needed to continue regular performance activities. I don’t know if the troupe members were paying the troupe, but the troupe was involved in several side businesses under the troupe’s name.

For example, a bit part appearance on a local TV station, an event for children at a shopping mall, support for a bargain sale, and so on. The troupe leader also needs the skills to sell something.

Curiously, someone wrote the script for the troupe’s esoteric play, but I had never seen the writer. The script that was handed over is interpreted, directed by the troupe leader, and the actors yell. It was such a system.

In principle, the relationship between men and women in the troupe was free, but there seemed to be a shared recognition that it should not interfere with the troupe’s theater and performance activities.

But it was actually messed up. The protagonist class youth, who play a central role among the actors, was popular with women and was also trusted by the troupe leader.

But at one point, I found something unexpected. It was more exciting than the ending of the play that the troupe had performed. It was when the leaders of the theater company and other leaders were not at the riverside for some reason.

I was neither a member of the troupe nor an actor, and suddenly I talked about the previous performance, “That play was difficult, but isn’t it similar to this troupe?” I told several troupe members around me.

I still remember that the complexion of the members of the troupe changed. It seemed like no one should say it. In other words, even the actors who played the script did not understand the content of the play.

They were manipulated dolls and had no real ideals or passions. In addition, they knew that and were practicing acting in the dark riverbed.

Moreover, such cold feelings were shared by all the members of the troupe except newcomers. Possibly, including the troupe leader.

What did they keep doing?

There is only one obvious thing. The person who wrote the script for the play did not appear until the end.
