Don’t get me wrong! If you are hired, the equipment provided is not yours.

A fax machine stopped working at a workplace. It’s always been a question of whether it works, but when we tried to use it for the first time in a while, it didn’t work.

It seems that the facsimile, which has misled us many times on the front and back of the paper, is about to reach its end of life.

Why fax? Our business partners were suspicious of everything, so they just wanted to confirm the contract in writing. Then come get it.

But we couldn’t say that. We hurriedly requested the purchasing department for a new next fax machine.

Subcontractors have boasted that any equipment can be restocked within 24 hours, but this time, the purchasing department has said it can’t restock new fax machines.

The reason is that since the useful life of the supplied fax machine is 3 years, replenishment within that period is recognized as property damage due to a mistake during operation, and replenishment must be newly purchased from the budget of the department concerned.

Conversely, equipment that has reached the end of its useful life will be updated even if it is operating without trouble. The subcontractor is trying to bring in a facsimile that is several times larger than the new type.

You guys! How much did you receive from the subcontractor?

In the first place, is there a basis for estimating the useful life? Who was able to set the useful life by what procedure?

Because of that, that facsimile is still sitting in the workplace as a stationary figurine.

If you inadvertently touch it and have trouble, someone has to compensate. It’s like a land mine.

Of course, the contract details were printed out and brought by a representative who did not know the circumstances.
