As far as electric motorcycles are concerned, they have a bad reputation.

As everyone says, electric motorcycles are heavy.

Being heavier than before is a fatal flaw, as the only advantage of the bike was that it was lightweight and easy to operate.

However, it cannot be denied that one of the concrete conditions for a carbon-free society in the future is the flow of electrification of transportation facilities.

Of course, there are advantages to electric motorcycles and electric vehicles. Since there is no exhaust noise, you can run quietly.

When a huge electric motorcycle approached, I got a strange impression at first. Because there is no sound.

Bikers generally like the sound of exhaust. They love that dirty sound.

But narcissism sometimes violates the public interest. No matter how pleasant the sound is, it’s noisy for those who don’t like it.

Bikers shouldn’t forget that if they’re going to ride a motorcycle for the rest of their lives, it’s offensive to many.

Now, electric motorcycles are advertised as a clean means of transportation because they use electricity. But it looks like it’s always charging.

That’s because it uses a lot of electricity, but where and how is that electricity made?

As you know, hydropower deforests. Thermal power generation emits carbon. And nuclear power destroys the lives of the local residents.

I think the loss from those circumstances is greater.

I’m not capable of elaborating, but as the price of electric cars goes down, many ordinary workers will buy and drive.

But even if such a wonderful future comes, I imagine that electric motorcycles will not be lightened.
