Be a crowd if a group were a group of people who were completely uniform

Perhaps the credibility of the old man’s story may be thin.....

“Look, there will be weeds growing there. And if it rains heavily, this road will be flooded. What do you think of this?”

The old man has lived in this town for a long time. He occasionally removes weeds along the road.
The site of the nearby store is privately owned. The street in front of it is public land managed by this town.
And the roadside strip of several meters wide between the shops and the street belongs to no one. That’s why no one has maintained it, and it will continue to be desolate.
So the old residents of this town are philanthropicly clearing the area of overgrown weeds.

Are the members of the group united?
The members of the group are basically unified, but in reality this is not the case.
If a group were a group of people who were completely uniform, it would not be a group, but a crowd.
Crowds are directionless and shapeless. Yes, the group we constitute has a direction and can be clearly recognized from the outside.

Long ago, early in the morning, I saw a few workers clearing the graffiti on the guardrails of this sanctuary.
They used organic solvents to wipe off the extremely avant-garde paintings on the guardrails. A car parked a short distance away had the name of a government department plastered on its door.

What is the non-uniform character of a group?
Then, who will maintain the direction and shape? This gives rise to the non-uniform character of the group.
In practice, groups can be loosely divided into a small number of leaders and a large number of followers.
Oops, of course it goes without saying that this is the beginning of some kind of stupidity.

The old man who teaches me the trivial things about this town speaks to various people in various places.
But ironically, most people don’t seem to listen intently to the old man. Perhaps the credibility of the old man’s story may be thin.
